What I brought to it: This was my first full project inside Unreal Engine, and the experience of bringing directorial instincts and post-production experience into a real-time environment was genuinely liberating. The decisions that usually happen across separate tools and pipelines, camera, lighting, timing, character animation, all collapsed into a single interactive space. Lumen lighting, motion capture ingestion, cinematic camera design inside the engine, then into DaVinci Resolve for the edit, sound design, music, and color grade. Every discipline I've developed over ten years, applied simultaneously inside one environment. It felt like a months-long fever dream. Exactly the right kind.
