The Bougie Wine Company is a short-run canned wine brand created with Millennial spending habits—and sensibilities—in mind.
With just four curated blends, the brand was built to feel exclusive, elevated, and a little bit cheeky. I developed a bold black-and-white design system that signals quiet luxury, positioning the product as a sophisticated alternative in the grab-and-go wine market.
At the heart of the brand is a logo inspired by a portrait of the founder’s mother, whose unintentionally smug expression became an unexpected muse. That knowing smirk captured the spirit of the brand perfectly—confident, clever, and unapologetically bougie. From visual identity to packaging, every detail was crafted to feel high-design, high-attitude, and highly giftable.
