Parakeet lives in two places: on site, on a phone in a gloved hand, and in the control room. The brand had to look as at home on a hard hat as on a dashboard.
I took on the identity, guidelines and app design.
The approach
Built for the field, not the spreadsheet. That line set every decision.
The mark is one P doing four jobs: forward movement, protection, the letter itself and a parakeet in flight. Colour follows the same economy. Everything is black and steel except one lime, the only colour that reads both on a hard hat and on a screen at a glance.
The work
Colour system
Lime #CCFF00 and Industrial Black #0C0C0C lead. Four neutrals carry the interface: Carbon #1B1E1D, Steel #2A2D31, Slate #4A4F56 and Concrete #7A8088, on White #F2F2F2.
Typography
DIN Next Condensed Bold in caps for headlines and data, anything that has to read from across a site. Inter for body and UI, with labels in Medium caps and open tracking.
Applications
The P in the field: environments, fleet and cargo, gear, the website and out of home.
Product
Capture. Detect. Control.
App
From live site score to closed report in five taps. Critical risk surfaces first, an owner is assigned in two taps, and field proof is captured offline and synced the moment there is signal.

The result
One lime does the work of a whole palette. It marks the brand on a truck and marks the critical risk in the app, so the colour means the same thing everywhere you see it.
