SouthWind Events: Website Bug Fixes & Mobile Responsiveness

SouthWind Events is a wedding planning company serving Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Its website presents the brand, the planning services, a portfolio of real weddings, client testimonials and an inquiry form, with a blog alongside.

I was brought in to fix and improve the existing site.

My role Bug fixing and frontend improvements on a live website. I did not create the original design or build.

Fixed UI and functionality bugs

Fixed issues with the carousel/slider

Identified and resolved JavaScript errors

Improved mobile responsiveness across different screen sizes

Fixed layout and interaction issues for a smoother user experience

Built on Showit, with separate desktop and mobile layouts

Image carousels on the homepage and portfolio, plus a testimonial slider

Inquiry form powered by Dubsado, and email sign-up through Flodesk

Blog running on WordPress
