Introduction
Cisco, a global leader in networking and IT, tasked me with designing a variety of marketing assets for Cisco.com, Cisco U, and Cisco Secure. My work included banners, landing pages, hero images, icons, email templates, and ads, all adhering to Cisco's brand guidelines.
The Challenge
Creating cohesive and visually appealing marketing graphics that aligned with Cisco's established brand identity, while also being adaptable across various platforms and mediums.
Process
1. Brand Guidelines and Asset Requests
- Followed Cisco’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Managed tasks and communications via Jira, Asana, and Webex.
2. Designing for Cisco.com
- Developed a style using line art over color and grayscale photos.
- Created banners in Adobe Photoshop and exported them as PNGs and JPGs.
- Designed multiple landing page options in Figma, using Adobe Stock photos with backgrounds removed in Photoshop.
3. Hero Banners, Icons, and Presentations
- Created hero banners for various technology pages, combining images from Adobe Stock and text in Figma.

- Designed flat icons in Sketch for different course types, delivered to developers via Zeplin.
- Developed presentations (using Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere, Keynote, PowerPoint) for internal and external use, ensuring alignment with Cisco’s visual identity.
4. Marketing Graphics for Cisco U
- Developed welcome emails and ads for Cisco U. Spotlight event in Figma.
