A soothing and refreshing brand identity for a woman-run homemade candle business! 🌱
I love working with small businesses - picking entrepreneurs' brains
to build their dream brand identity, together, is so rewarding.
About the client 📂
Serenity is a homemade candle & lifestyle business, based in Lebanon. It had already found its success with DIY branding - so, for the two-year anniversary of the brand, it was time to grow out of it and define a clear identity.
➫ The goal for this brand identity was to revisit the DIY branding and dive into a well-defined clear brand that would set itself aside on the market, with a luxury x homemade look.
Building the identity together ❤️
➬ Hanane, the owner, had a clear idea of the image she wanted to build - she is not new to the business and already had a great hold of her enterprise. Crafting her identity was about following her insight while also bringing in fresh ideas and creating guidelines that would be easily adapted to all supports.
➫ After two rounds of revisions, Hanane's updated brand identity was delivered! The new image will roll out soon on social media. Product packaging design is our next step and will be done as soon as the new containers are chosen.
Final product 🎁
The typography, Emilea, was chosen for its luxury look. It was then revisited and redrawn for readability and cohesion.
Three icons were designed to be used on their own or as a pattern - the S from Serenity as a monogram, a flowy flame, and a nice nod to Hanane's love for lavender.
The color palette is earthy, in reference to the all-natural products used in the Serenity candles.
➬ The final product is grounded, yet elevated. A nice mix of nature and self-care.
