About the client 📂

I have had the chance to design for JCI Lebanon on multiple occasions - which led to JCI Lebanon winning the Best Inter Organizational Program Award at the JCI Africa & Middle East Area Conference in 2023.
I joined JCI Lebanon as part of my own volunteering journey and had a great understanding of their mission, vision, and needs, which allowed for clear and efficient communication and production. JCI Lebanon is part of Junior Chamber International, an iNGO that aims to develop leaders for a changing world.

Quick-fire project identities ⚡

➫ These designs served the basic needs of the NGO: a specific identity for each of their projects. The challenges were as follows: - the designs had to fit under the NGO's overall guidelines - they should be easy to use, for any member to pick up and apply in presentations and social media posts (through Google Slides and Canva) - the budget was tight, so it was necessary to work with free (or cheap) open-source fonts - the deadline was short, restricting the research depth but ensuring short and efficient solutions
➬ Each branding kit was simple and straight to the point. It included the logo, any variation, color scheme, and two font choices.

Convention Brand Identity 🔥

➬ JCI Lebanon's 2022 National Convention gathered corporate, embassies, civic society, NGOs, and the general public for a two-day event, filled with trainings, talks, and activities. The event required its own brand identity to use in promotional material such as project pitch and invitations, as well as social media content and printed products.
➫ The design is modern, sleek, and clean, speaking to both corporate and governmental entities, and at the same time being approachable to the general public. It falls under JCI's brand guidelines (color palette), while also standing out and working independently.

New look for a new year❗

➫ In 2023, I was asked to revamp the Rising Minds branding to be more vibrant, to call for a younger target audience and to reflect that year's themes of AI and technology. The color palette, logo finish and icons are energetic and inspiring.

Getting the website started 🌐

➬ While it is still an ongoing process, I had the chance to kick off JCI Lebanon's website. The goal was to incorporate the brand identities I developed, while also providing the team with a website structure that they could adapt on their own later on. The budget is limited and we have not yet looked into full web development.

Social media content and management ✅

➫ This is no secret - social media is crucial for growth. I was asked to launch the JCI Beirut pages in 2020, and then create content and manage all social networks for two years. In 2022, I was appointed Advisor of the JCI Lebanon Social Media and Creative Design Committee, where I am now guiding the graphic designers and social media managers to further the growth across platforms.
The strategy was to maintain a consistent brand image, to make the content human and approachable and to ensure regularity. This allowed for an engagement rate of 6.7%, which is considered to be very high.
➫ The platforms I created content for and managed were: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Whatsapp Community Channels, Discord and more recently, TikTok. Below are some samples from Instagram, but the Local Organization can be found across platforms as JCI Beirut.
