Last year, I was invited to create interaction and animation concepts for a brokerage firm. Bringing movement to a product is just as essential to the aesthetic function of an interactive project as spacing, typography, and color. We live in a world where almost everything is in motion or waiting for an interaction to pull it out of inertia. By adding movement to a project, we make the interaction between humans and the product more natural and coherent — like breathing life into a clay figure.
