I turned the presentation of the financial app’s screens into a flow full of rhythm, energy, and purpose.

Last year, I was invited to create interaction and animation concepts for a brokerage firm. Bringing movement to a product is just as essential to the aesthetic function of an interactive project as spacing, typography, and color. We live in a world where almost everything is in motion or waiting for an interaction to pull it out of inertia. By adding movement to a project, we make the interaction between humans and the product more natural and coherent — like breathing life into a clay figure.

Found an old Blender file a motion I had made a while ago. The idea was just to use the animation in an outcalling screen, but then I thought about adding a previous one, kind of like a contact screen. When I opened the project, I noticed the shader wasn’t looking great, so I had to learn how to export the animation from Blender to Spline to get a better render. Then I went back to Figma to build the screen, mixed everything in After, and finally returned to Blender to drop it into the mockup. In the end, it turned into that classic creative process that starts with “just a little screen” and ends up as a mini cinematic production! 🎬
