Project overview

Sidekick is a consulting studio built to attract the kind of talent that builds what’s next. The goal was to project confidence and credibility from day one, even while the studio’s ventures were still taking shape.
What I did: Crafted a bold identity centered on a modular S symbol, creating a flexible system that brings energy, humanity, and modern edge across digital and physical touchpoints.

The challenge

Early-stage studios often need to look established before everything is fully built.
Show credibility without feeling corporate or generic
Stand out in a competitive space that is full of “minimal tech” brands
Create a system that can flex as new offerings and ventures evolve

Strategy

The strategy was to build a brand that feels ready while remaining modular enough to scale with the studio.
Confidence first: bold hierarchy, high-contrast color, and decisive layouts to signal clarity and leadership.
A recognizable core asset: a modular S mark that can adapt across formats while staying instantly identifiable.
System over one-off visuals: repeatable components that keep the brand consistent across social, web, and print.
Human energy built in: dynamic compositions and warm imagery so the identity feels approachable, not overly polished or corporate.

Touchpoints delivered

Brand identity design (logo and system)
Modular S symbol system (flexible mark applications)
Typography and color direction (bold, high-contrast palette)
Social media templates (launch-ready feed assets)
Digital mockups (web and device applications)
Print touchpoints (business cards and tote concept)

What the client and audience experience

This identity helps Sidekick show up as:
credible (clear, confident, structured)
bold (high contrast, strong typography, decisive layouts)
human (approachable tone and energetic compositions)
scalable (a modular system that grows with new ventures)
The result is a brand built to back the builders: confident, modern, and full of momentum.
