Sunrise Flour Mill is a heritage grain company known for organic, stone-milled flours and beginner-friendly sourdough kits. Their Deluxe Bread Kit is often the first entry point for new bakers, which makes clarity, reassurance, and education critical to conversion.
This project focused on a single goal: make sourdough feel doable.
Project Goals
I was brought in to:
Design a dedicated landing page for the Deluxe Bread Kit
Reduce intimidation for first-time sourdough bakers
Clearly explain what’s included and why it’s worth the price
Increase confidence at the point of purchase without aggressive selling
What I Did
Designed for First-Time Bakers
Built a calm, structured page that guides users step-by-step
Used clear headlines and visual hierarchy to prevent overwhelm
Anchored the page around the promise of “sourdough made simple”
Removed Purchase Friction
Added comparison tables to show how Sunrise differs from store-bought flour
Created a visual “What’s Included” section to eliminate guesswork
Placed FAQs and reassurance blocks near decision points
Focused on Conversion Without Pressure
Used social proof from real bakers instead of marketing claims
Repeated CTAs naturally as intent builds through the page
Optimized the layout for mobile, where most discovery happens
Results
Created a landing page that educates before it sells
Reduced hesitation for beginners unfamiliar with sourdough
Improved clarity around value, contents, and outcomes
Positioned the Deluxe Bread Kit as a confident starting point, not a risk
