Northern Wingspan Brand Design

Northern Wingspan is a fictional client that was generated using a client generator for practice project for graphic designers. Northern Wingspan is an airline company that offers a variety of affordable flights to a large group of destinations. They are also able to provide authentic local guides, due to them having staff in every flight destination they offer. Their main target audience is seniors, they try to convey the sense of wonder while at the same time being realistic.

The generator tasked me in creating a whole brand for this airline company, they wanted me to follow the company's values, and the idea of wonder and realistic views. And focusing on their target audience (seniors) while creating their brand and logo. The only input was that they wanted to use the brands color choice which was yellow.

When it came to the colors and the font I want to use a font that showed structure and strength similar to how I design the logo symbol. I decided on the font Frutiger LT Std, this font came with four styles total; 45 Light, 46 Light Italic, 55 Roman and 65 Bold. This font was used for the logo word mark and should be used for any of the company's text. For the color theme I chose to three additional colors, (white, yellow, dark green, and black) the colors were all based around the yellow color of the brand and to complement it and make it stand out.
