As the copywriter for Skin By Mamie, a high-end skincare brand with a 30k+ audience, I wrote product descriptions on Squarespace for the brand’s new, sustainable skincare line. My product description writing and social media copy for the product's launch garnered $1k+ in sales in less than one week.

I’ve curated and sustained Ebony Tomato Collective’s website, a free online platform, TikTok, and Instagram (where we have 4k+ followers combined) to connect with our target audience and share our mission. We’ve gained a combined audience of 4k+ followers, garnering media attention, distribution opportunities, and a diverse, international community of writers.

I served as a Social Media Intern and copywriter for a start-up initiative to connect filmmakers to grant opportunities. My work to maintain consistent brand messaging and spotlight diverse filmmakers received recognition from top industry names such as Ava Duvernay and Aneesh Sheth.

As the Social Media and Communications Manager for Skin by Mamie, I marketed products and services via social media strategy for a high-end skincare brand with a 30k+ audience. I wrote and edited social media copy that increased content interactions on Instagram by 225% within 30 days.
