ADD Sounds is a dynamic platform designed for sound designers, musicians, and content creators to explore and download a vast library of sound packs, music albums, and individual sound effects. My role as the lead UX/UI designer involved creating a streamlined user experience that not only facilitates quick and efficient sound discovery but also offers a seamless download and management process for audio professionals.

Dynamic Search Functionality: Build a search system that allows users to quickly find specific sounds based on genre, BPM, mood, or tags.

Effortless Browsing and Downloading: Ensure an intuitive browsing experience where users can preview, manage, and download multiple sound files without friction.

Optimized User Flow: Design a platform that simplifies the journey from sound discovery to download, reducing friction points and enhancing the overall user experience.

Our priority was to develop a robust search and filtering system that allowed users to easily navigate through hundreds of sound packs and individual sound effects. We focused on providing a range of filtering options, from genres to specific sound characteristics like BPM and mood.

Advanced Filters: Added multi-layered filters to help users narrow down their search results.

Auto-suggestions: Introduced smart search suggestions based on popular or recent searches to accelerate the discovery process.

We designed the browsing experience to feel intuitive and fluid, with the option to preview tracks in real-time before downloading. Batch downloading capabilities were introduced to streamline the workflow, enabling users to quickly add multiple sounds to their download list.

Real-Time Previewing: Integrated seamless preview buttons, so users could listen to sounds without having to leave the browsing page.

Batch Download: Users could select multiple tracks, create a batch list, and download all files at once in their preferred format.

Balancing Complexity with Simplicity: Designing a platform that offered advanced filtering and search options without overwhelming users required careful planning and iteration.

Performance Optimization: Ensuring fast loading times and seamless sound previews, especially with a large audio library, was a critical challenge.
