Event Lead - VPF Winter Gala

About the organization:

Vietnamese Professionals in Finland (VPF) is a non-profit association with a mission to promote personal and career growth of Vietnamese professionals in Finland.

The organization thrives with a community of 2.3K+ Facebook members and around 200 premium subscribers.

My tasks:

To find an accessible venue offering ample space with chairs and tables for food service, as well as a high-quality sound system.

To plan the event's content, schedule, and task lists for a team of 3 people.

To prepare and test the games that would be played at the event.

To find individuals for music performances, coordinate practices, and oversee rehearsals.

To create and manage event ticket sales on Eventbrite.

To coordinate food catering for the event.

To managed event expenses within the allocated budget.

My deliverables:

Successfully managed a team of 3 people to deliver the year's largest event.

Created and managed the sales of event on Eventbrite.

Conducted a successful offline event, engaging more than 80 attendees.

Received excellent feedback on event organization, music performance, food, and engaging games.

Secured a sponsorship to provide game prizes and gift boxes for each participant.

Effectively maintained expenses within the allocated budget.
