I've been supporting Ceramic since they began their website redesign efforts in January 2023.
Over the course of the last year I've have flexed and extended Ceramic’s brand, initially designed by Katya Gracheff, to new applications and formats.
Phase 1
The first phase of the project dealt with implementing the initial three pages of the website in a new project in Webflow. This was accomplished over the course of two weeks of work. In the process I collaborated in Russian with designer Katya Gracheff to understand the design specs.
Phase 2: Request Intake Form
In the second engagement we redesigned the company's intake form for support requests. A critical moment in the user journey that allows Ceramic to better show up for and serve their audience. Below you can see how the form started out and how it looks now.
Before:
Page one of the form: assessing inquiry type
After: Redesigned and Rebuilt form
Key decisions: how to condense the form from two screens to one?
Leveraged layout and micro-interactions to guide the user and reveal parts of the form only relevant to specific inquiry instances.
Throughout the process, we have focused on enabling consistency, investing effort into building in repeatability and increasing the brand’s usability for the in-house team through projects that creatively leverage webflow’s native CMS and API.
