Don't just read Scripture — be transformed by it.
This is the tagline of the first ever app I published to the App Store. Scripture is what we call the books written by people with words we believe came from God. I found the words intense, deep, and confusing. Like layers of a world record rubber band ball, you could work into it for hours and not have scratched the surface.
Praxis is like the knife that cuts through the layers.
First, more about the development. Praxis was designed Figma-first because I value usability and UX once I know the idea is rock solid. People would want it because of it's purpose, but they would keep using it because it was beautiful and functional, simple and detailed.
After the framework was worked out in Figma, I brought it to Claude and built out every functionality. It took around 500 iterations to make sure what I had was perfectly configured to be a product I could be proud of.
I focused App-first, which is different than all of the other products I have created, which are web-first. I found the App set the most appealing, and so kept it and moved it to the site. praxisbible.com
The inner-workings of the app is that it contains all 30,000+ verses in 5 different translations, which are called during each chapter generation from various API's. Each verse can be analyzed by clicking on it, which opens an analysis view with 3 pages. The analysis has a variety of focuses, and is generated on a Claude Haiku 4.5 API. The main components that are generated are: 1) a breakdown of the original words written in Greek or Hebrew, and their definitions so that the reader knows what the original author really said, 2) a list of every significant reference or use of this verse elsewhere in the Bible so that the reader knows what the author was trying to point to, and 3) a breakdown of every misunderstanding in modern Christianity that the AI finds that causes most Christians to act so far from Jesus and His love.
All together, the app runs on 9 API's and a database through Supabase.
The marketing is down by a standout FSU marketing student as learning and training experience for her portfolio, so that it is mutually beneficial.

The app currently has ~500 users on brand new marketing and 4 5-star reviews on the App store. The plan is to continue marketing as updates come so that it can become a more widely used app as I believe in it's purpose. It is and always will be a free app, despite advice to monetize.
Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
