With a focus on accessibility and simplicity, the design prioritized ease of use for a target audience that may not be familiar with technology. The platform provided key functionalities, such as information sharing, digital services, and communication tools, tailored to the needs of rural village communities.

Designing for inclusivity and accessibility I took a proactive role in improving the platform’s accessibility by adjusting components to meet WCAG standards. Some elements were originally designed with 10px font sizes, which fell short of accessibility guidelines. I overhauled these components, ensuring they were not only accessible but also cleaner and more intuitive, making the platform easier to navigate for users with limited digital literacy.

UNHAS x JADE Iteration — Educational Platform within the apps for student-farmer connection I contributed to the development of an educational platform aimed at connecting students with farmers. The platform was designed to foster understanding of agricultural practices and provide students with valuable insights into the farming community. By creating an intuitive and engaging user interface, the platform enabled students to learn more about the agricultural sector, gain practical knowledge, and interact directly with farmers to deepen their understanding.

Empowering Rural Communities Jaringan Desa was designed to connect rural villages through a digital platform, making information, resources, and communication tools more accessible to village leaders and citizens.

Improved Accessibility Standards I addressed key accessibility issues, including overhauling components like the 10px font size, to ensure compliance with WCAG standards, improving the usability of the platform for all users.

Simplified, Inclusive Design The platform's design was made intuitive and user-friendly to accommodate users with limited digital literacy, ensuring it could be easily navigated by a wide variety of users.

Low-End Device Optimization Recognizing the hardware limitations in rural areas, I optimized the platform’s performance, ensuring it functioned smoothly on lower-end devices with minimal internet connectivity.

Scalable Design System Created a flexible and scalable design system that allowed for the easy expansion of new features and modules, such as the integration of the UNHAS x JADE educational platform.

Educational Outreach via UNHAS x JADE Iteration As part of Jaringan Desa, the UNHAS x JADE project connected students with farmers, providing a bridge for learning about agricultural practices while strengthening relationships between students and the farming community.

Comprehensive Developer Handoff Delivered a clean, developer-friendly handoff that ensured a smooth transition from design to development, ready for future updates and scalability.
