The Problem
Target Life Fitness was looking at growing its membership base and needed help with generating leads into their gym. I provided an audit of Target Life fitness's digital presence including their website, social media channels and CRM system to help them come up with a solution to drive more leads into the business and convert these leads into memberships.
The Solution
After reviewing Target Life Fitness and its online presence, I proposed updating the website to provide visitors with a clear journey, what the studio offered and how to take the next steps to come into the studio and see if it is a good fit.
I suggested using a Facebook lead generation campaign to promote their intro offer to the local community.
I also ensured that they had marketing automation and a CRM system in place to help them successfully convert incoming leads.
The funnel I created started with a landing page promoting their intro offer where they could register with their name, email and phone number, they were then taken to a scheduling page to book their intro session at the gym, followed by a thank you page with video testimonials from existing gym members to further build trust ahead of their first session.
Those who booked in their first session would receive a confirmation SMS followed by a couple of reminders leading up to their session to improve show-up rates. Those who registered their interest but didn't schedule an appointment right away entered a nurture campaign encouraging them to take this next step (and were followed up with a phone call from the gym manager).
We used a clear pipeline system to keep track of lead registrations, appointments scheduled, first session attendees and conversions into gym memberships.
This system was implemented across their digital channels including their website, social media platforms, emails and of course the Facebook lead generation campaign.
The Results
Within the first 4 weeks of running the Facebook lead generation campaign, we had generated 34 leads and $10,000 worth of new memberships with more in the pipeline. The system helped Target Life Fitness better manage all of their incoming leads across their digital channels, avoid leads from slipping through the cracks and being forgotten about and ultimately improve their conversion rates.
