Hawkeye by Skillion — Social Media, Content & Launch Campaign for an AI-Powered Cycling Safety Device

The Client
Hawkeye is an advanced AI-powered rearview safety system for cyclists, developed by Skillion Inc in the USA. It combines a wide-angle rear camera, intelligent threat detection, and real-time alerts to enhance rider awareness and safety on the road. Their tagline says it all: "Hit the streets with confidence." Hawkeye offers the camera hardware plus a subscription for added safety services.
The Challenge
Hawkeye was gearing up for launch but had no social media presence, no strong branding foundation, and no solid website to support the go-to-market push. They needed someone to build the content engine from scratch and create a digital presence that matched the quality of the product before it hit the market.
What I Did
→ Social Media Campaign (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) Built the social media presence from the ground up across all three platforms. Developed a content strategy that positioned Hawkeye as the must-have safety device for cyclists, created a posting cadence, and produced content that balanced product education with lifestyle appeal. The goal was to build awareness and community before and during launch.
→ Content Marketing & Video Scripts Created content for the brand across all platforms, including writing video scripts for YouTube that explained how the product works, why it matters, and who it's for. Content was designed to educate potential buyers on the AI-powered features while keeping the messaging accessible and exciting, not overly technical.
→ Ad Campaign Creative & Strategy Developed ad creative and campaign strategy for the launch push. Focused on reaching cycling enthusiasts, commuters, and safety-conscious riders through targeted messaging that spoke to real pain points: blind spots, close passes, and road awareness.
→ Brand Presence & Positioning Helped shape how Hawkeye showed up online. From the tone of social captions to the visual direction of content, everything was built to feel premium, innovative, and trustworthy, matching the caliber of the product itself.
The Outcome
Over 3 months, Hawkeye went from zero digital presence to a fully active social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube with consistent content, a clear brand voice, and launch-ready campaigns. The brand entered the market with a cohesive, professional look that positioned it as a serious player in the cycling safety space.
