Project Context

NORTH. wasn't a typical "build me a store" project. The client already had a brand with a strong visual identity. What they lacked was a digital retail system that could handle both the customer experience and the operational backend. They needed a storefront that converted browsers into buyers, and an admin dashboard that gave them full control over inventory, orders, and customer data.
The challenge was building both sides of that coin as one cohesive platform.

From Research to Launch

I started by studying the brand's positioning and their competitors in the mid-to-premium fashion space. The research revealed that their target customer shops across devices (often discovering on mobile, purchasing on desktop) and values a clean, distraction-free browsing experience.
I presented 3 design directions. The approved concept leaned into bold typography and generous whitespace, letting the product photography carry the visual weight. The layout was designed to feel editorial without sacrificing e-commerce conversion patterns.
Development took about a month. The entire platform runs on WordPress with WooCommerce and Elementor.

The Customer Experience

Storefront
Storefront
The homepage sets the tone immediately. A full-bleed hero with the latest collection, followed by curated category blocks that guide shoppers deeper into the catalog. The layout is intentionally sparse so the products feel premium, not crowded.
Collection Page
Collection Page
Collection pages are built for browsing. A responsive grid with consistent image ratios, hover-to-reveal quick actions, and sidebar filters for size, color, and price range. Shoppers can scan an entire collection in seconds.
Product Detail
Product Detail
Product pages are where the conversion happens. Multiple product images, size guides, material details, and a prominent add-to-cart CTA. Related products sit below the fold to encourage cross-selling without cluttering the primary purchase flow.
Cart and Checkout
Cart and Checkout
Cart to checkout is designed as one continuous motion. The cart slides in without a page reload, shows a clear summary, and flows directly into a single-page checkout. Fewer clicks, fewer drop-offs.

The Admin Side

Admin Dashboard
Admin Dashboard
The dashboard gives the client a real-time pulse on the business. Today's orders, revenue, top-selling products, and inventory alerts are all on the first screen. No digging through menus to find what matters.
Order Management
Order Management
Order management is built for speed. Each order shows status, customer info, items, and shipping details in one view. The client can update fulfillment status, print packing slips, and handle returns without switching between tools.
