Urbit is a decentralized peer-to-peer OS designed to replace centralized platforms, offering users complete ownership of their digital experience. As Head of Design at dcSpark, I led the UX/UI efforts to integrate Urbit into the broader web ecosystem, designing key browser extensions that simplified workflows and enhanced usability.

I was responsible for the design and usability of three essential Urbit tools:

Urbit Visor: A browser extension that integrates Urbit with web apps, making it easier to interact with the decentralized network.

Twitter UV: A tool that enables seamless interaction between Twitter and Urbit, allowing users to archive and share tweets.

Urbit Dashboard: A web-based control center for managing and organizing Urbit-hosted data.

By designing these solutions, we bridged traditional web experiences with Urbit’s decentralized environment, helping drive 5,000+ active installations.
