Hakone Technology Park

In 2023, Refleks Agency commissioned me to develop a visual strategy for a future science and technology park planned to be established in Tallinn. Through this project, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the field of innovation parks, by researching, exploring and shaping different directions and proposals. Although the project was ultimately canceled, the work was already in an advanced development phase, and I decided to continue developing the initial proposal I had created.

Due to contractual limitations, I replaced the original corporation's name with "Hakone." The primary goal of this park was to create a supportive environment for young high-tech enterprises and startups, with a particular emphasis on sustainability and an environmentally friendly mindset. The park aimed to establish a network of companies providing support, guidance, and a conducive environment for organizations to set up and grow.

One of the challenges of this project was finding the right balance between its innovation-driven core and maintaining a youthful, creative, and friendly spirit without losing its business-oriented edge. As a result, I designed a flexible system that offers a wide range of possibilities, striking a balance between a playful and high-tech vibe.
