Estonia Cultural Diversity 2024

An unselected proposal for the Year of Cultural Diversity programme, organized by the Estonian Ministry of Culture to foster a communal spirit and a sense of belonging within the country. Cultural diversity, a crucial aspect of national policy, plays a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining a harmonious and stable society in Estonia.

The goal was to establish a versatile, organic, and adaptable system inspired by the optical effect of the kaleidoscope. The kaleidoscope, with its interwoven reflections, creates a balanced system where each piece has its own place, forming a harmony that combines many different shapes and colors. In developing this proposal, we aimed to create welcoming, kind, and open visuals, as the scope focuses on individuals coming from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This system highlights the uniqueness of each person and recognizes the importance of embracing diverse perspectives, ultimately bringing fresh possibilities into our everyday experiences.
