Meridian Physio: Competence Before Commitment

Faadil Boussari

Most healthcare websites try to remove uncertainty.
Meridian Physio was designed to show it honestly.
This fictional physiotherapy assessment experience separates six stages that are often blurred together:
REPORTED — What the patient describes. OBSERVED — What the clinician can directly see. TESTED — What can be examined during the assessment. CONCLUDED — What can reasonably be stated from the available evidence. UNCERTAIN — What cannot yet be confirmed. NEXT — What should happen before a stronger commitment is made.

The central idea

A clinic should demonstrate competence before asking a patient to commit.
Instead of presenting certainty too early, the experience makes the boundary between evidence, interpretation, and uncertainty visible.
The signature interaction is the progression:
REPORTED → OBSERVED → TESTED → CONCLUDED → UNCERTAIN → NEXT

TESTED

What can be examined during the assessment. The interface presents clinical observations as structured evidence rather than narrative summaries.
TESTED state: clinical observations presented as structured evidence
TESTED state: clinical observations presented as structured evidence

CONCLUDED

What can reasonably be stated from the available evidence. Conclusions are scoped to what the assessment actually supports.
CONCLUDED state: findings scoped to available evidence
CONCLUDED state: findings scoped to available evidence

UNCERTAIN

The most important state is not the conclusion. It is UNCERTAIN.
That moment shows that professional credibility does not come from pretending to know everything. It comes from clearly showing what is known, what is inferred, and what still requires further assessment.
UNCERTAIN state: the boundary between evidence and what still requires further assessment

Mobile assessment flow

The full assessment progression adapts to mobile with the same structural clarity. Each stage maintains its distinct identity across screen sizes.
