Clarify 2.0: Taking a Builder.io challenge entry to launch

Context

Clarify started as my entry to the Builder.io × Contra Challenge in December 2025: a lightweight AI tool where designers paste unclear client feedback and get back clear, actionable design tasks. It earned second place in the challenge. You can read the original case study here: AI tool that turns vague client feedback into clear design tasks.
The challenge version proved the idea. This project is the next step: I redesigned Clarify as a complete product, with a new brand identity, a more capable dashboard and a marketing site built in Webflow.

The problem

Every designer knows the feedback: "make it pop," "jazz it up," "it doesn't feel right." Nobody knows what to actually change. Designers burn hours decoding requests and running revision cycles that still miss the mark, and projects creep because the work was never clearly defined.

From prototype to product

The challenge version focused on one clean flow: paste feedback, let AI interpret it, and get structured tasks grouped by effort and difficulty. For 2.0, I kept that core and asked what a designer would need to use Clarify every day, across real client projects.
Paste in any feedback and Clarify produces structured tasks with a title, details, an effort estimate and a difficulty level. "Can you make it pop?" becomes "Increase headline contrast to 4.5:1 AA ratio (45 min, Easy)."

Product design

The redesigned dashboard brings the whole workflow into one workspace:
AI Generate: paste feedback, get a list of tagged tasks (UI, Copy, Dev)
Kanban board: To Do, In Progress and Done columns with task counts, effort and difficulty on every card
Focus Timer, Session History and Cleanup Tools: for timeboxing work and keeping past feedback sessions organized
Projects sidebar: so each client's sprint stays separate

Building it in Webflow

The marketing site is built in Webflow on a token-based system: color, typography and spacing variables drive every component, so the palette, type scale and spacing stay consistent across the hero, problem/solution, features, benefits, pricing, FAQ and CTA sections. The product dashboard in the hero is built natively in Webflow rather than as a static screenshot.

What's next

Clarify 2.0 is currently in development. Next up: the full app experience behind the dashboard and onboarding for solo designers and studios.
