BASS Medical Group is a medical group practice with over 200 locations in the SF Bay Area.
Currently, their blog page provides an infinite scroll, no hierarchy within the labeled blog posts, and users are unable to search within the page.
My focus was to add a search bar to search for blog articles/topics to help users navigate the blog page while maintaining the blog thumbnails circles to keep some familiarity to the brand. Also, the infinite scroll will be replaced by a "Load More" button to not overwhelm the users.
I conducted a usability audit and a competitor benchmark such as the Stanford Health blog, and Harvard Health blog.
To create a better user interface, a minimal aesthetic was chosen to focus on the blog posts. There was minimal color used in order to create a hierarchy within CTA's and secondary buttons.
I also added a "Jump To" anchor to provide users with most popular topics without having to search.
The main goal of this page is to help users find relevant health topics and articles.
