Worked with a $1B+ retailer to upgrade their marketing systems from an on-premise EDW to a full-scale cloud-based Enterprise Data Platform.
Integrated all of their marketing efforts: from ads, to on-page clickstreams, email campaigns, and all of their order systems.
Utilized Big Query, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery's Dataform to bring this data pipeline to life. Leverage Github for performing CI/CD across the code lifecycle of dev, preview, and production.
Over 25 years of business logic was mapped, documented, and migrated to Google Cloud over several years. I worked with folks who had built the original systems 20+ years ago and learned some interesting skills and tidbits from the real tech veterans.
Worked in an Agile environment and the project was completed on time even with several unplanned detours.
