A complete luxury fragrance brand identity, designed as a rebrandable framework. From brand system to packaging dielines to a working storefront prototype, Obsidian Veil was built to skip the 3-6 month brand development cycle and deliver a production-grade identity from day one.
The Brief
Design a premium fragrance brand that could be acquired, rebranded, and taken to market by a founder, creative director, or brand team without starting from scratch. Every asset needed to be production-ready, cohesive, and built to scale across SKUs and channels.
The challenge wasn't just making it look expensive. It was engineering a system flexible enough to be someone else's brand while being rigorous enough to hold up at shelf, on screen, and in hand.
Brand Identity
The identity system is rooted in restraint. A dark, tonal palette anchored by matte black and warm metallics. Typography that leans editorial. Logo lockups (primary, monogram, horizontal) delivered as cleaned SVGs, backed by a palette JSON, typography guide, and component map.
Everything was designed to feel inevitable rather than decorated.

Packaging and Print
Formalized dielines for a 50ml bottle, outer carton, and tester card. Each one production-ready, not conceptual. Alongside those: business card, compliment slip, A2 poster, wayfinding signage, and a shopping bag handle card.
The print collateral was designed to reinforce the brand at every physical touchpoint, from unboxing to point of sale.

Three SKU Directions
Product imagery was developed across three fragrance directions: For Him, For Her, and For Them. Each shares the same design DNA but carries its own tonal weight, giving a buyer the foundation for a full product line from launch.

Storefront Prototype
A working ecommerce shell built in Lovable, configured with theme.config.ts covering brand tokens, colors, fonts, assets, SEO, pricing, and checkout. Not a static mockup. A functional starting point that a developer or founder can fork and ship.

Launch Visuals and Media
The framework ships with a full media kit: trio, identity, and display images, 2 hero videos, 3 social media clips, and a sonic/audio MP4. Everything a brand needs to announce itself across digital channels on day one.

The Framework
40+ production-ready assets. One buyer. One brand. Permanently retired from public sale on acquisition.
Obsidian Veil is available as a complete rebrandable framework, including full documentation (README.md and REBRAND_CHECKLIST.md) to guide the rebrand from day one.
Designed and documented to stand on its own, but built by someone who knows every decision behind it.
