December 2023 marked the start of an exciting challenge for me as I took on a recruitment project in the UAE, a market I had never ventured into before. The task at hand was to hire 10 SOC Analysts within a month, broken down into 4 SOC L1, 4 SOC L2, and 2 SOC L3 positions.

Despite the unfamiliar territory and different candidate behavior, I managed to successfully set up and implement the recruitment process from scratch. This involved establishing a clear tone for the company, ensuring candidates were well-informed about the role's benefits, and outlining interview and scorecard procedures.

To keep everything on track, I conducted weekly meetings with stakeholders, presenting profiles for final rounds and seeking their support for continuous improvements. This approach ensured that everyone was aligned and the recruitment process was smooth.

By the end of the month, I achieved a remarkable 100% fill rate for the technical positions. This success was a testament to meticulous planning, effective communication, and adaptability in a new market. This project not only broadened my horizons but also reinforced my skills in handling diverse recruitment challenges.
