Learning Website UX/UI Design

The project for Linkage aimed to deliver a clean, intuitive and modern online learning platform. The goal was to make the learning experience simple and engaging, with a layout that supports users navigating courses, content and resources with ease. I handled the full UX and UI design, focusing on clarity, readability and a friendly experience from desktop to mobile.

Complex information architecture Learning platforms typically include many types of content: course lists, modules, lessons, resources, progress tracking. The challenge was to organize all this without overwhelming users.

Need for clarity and accessibility Users come with different educational backgrounds and digital comfort levels. The UI needed to feel approachable and easy to use — not dense or intimidating.

Responsive design across devices Since learners may use desktop or mobile, the experience had to be smooth and consistent on any screen size. Design had to adapt without losing readability or visual balance.

Clear, modular layout structure I created a clean grid-based layout with generous white space, clear headings, and a hierarchy that guides the eye. Sections are grouped logically (courses, lessons, resources), making navigation intuitive and reducing cognitive load.

Consistent visual design and typography Using a readable type hierarchy and consistent spacing, the design ensures that content feels organized and accessible. Visual weight and contrast help users focus on what matters: titles, calls to action, and key content.

Responsive and flexible UI system Design was built with responsiveness in mind: elements adapt for mobile and desktop, maintaining readability and usability. Buttons, cards, and layouts reflow smoothly, ensuring the site feels native on all devices.

Easy navigation & content discovery: Users can quickly find courses, lessons or resources without confusion, thanks to a clear hierarchy and layout structure.

Comfortable reading and learning experience: The typography and spacing make long reading or learning sessions easy on the eyes — important for educational content.

Access across devices: Whether on laptop or phone, the interface adapts cleanly, making learning seamless and portable.

Perception of professionalism and trust: The clean design and structure give the platform a polished, credible feel, which helps build user trust in the quality of the learning material.
