🧠 About the Project

YUM QUICK is a mobile-first food delivery app designed to make ordering meals fast, fun, and effortless. The platform connects users with a wide range of local restaurants, offering everything from quick snacks to gourmet meals. With a focus on speed, personalization, and delightful user experience, YUM QUICK aims to become the go-to app for food lovers seeking convenience and variety.

🚧 The Challenge

The client wanted to position YUM QUICK as a standout in the crowded food delivery market, but needed:

A vibrant, intuitive interface that appeals to all age groups

A seamless ordering flow from browsing to checkout

Real-time order tracking and transparent delivery updates

A scalable design system to support promotions, loyalty programs, and future features

✍️ My Approach

As the lead designer, I managed the end-to-end product design process, including:

User Flow Mapping: Designed clear, efficient flows for browsing, cart management, and order placement to minimize friction

Homepage & Discovery: Created an engaging homepage with personalized recommendations, trending dishes, and easy access to categories

Order Experience: Developed a step-by-step order process with visual cues, real-time status updates, and delivery tracking

Visual Identity: Established a playful, appetizing color palette (warm oranges and yellows), rounded icons, and friendly typography to evoke trust and appetite

Scalability: Built a modular design system to easily accommodate new features like in-app promotions, ratings, and loyalty rewards

The new design increased user engagement and order completion rates, helping YUM QUICK carve out a unique identity in the food delivery space.
