Project Overview: I worked with the Kai Finance team as the Product Designer to design a unified finance platform for business owners. My job was to translate complex financial workflows into a clean, intuitive product experience, covering everything from AI-powered tools to performance insights and bookkeeping, all in one place.

KaiFinance serves three distinct user groups with different expectations.
 Business owners prioritise speed and quick answers, finance experts require deeper analysis and control, while administrators need visibility and operational oversight. The challenge was designing a single system that supports all three roles, without compromising clarity, focus, or usability for any of them.

Key tasks included:

Conducting user research to understand how business owners think about their finances

Mapping user flows and defining the core product architecture

Designing data-rich dashboards with a clear visual hierarchy

Building an AI-assisted onboarding flow to reduce time-to-value

Creating a consistent design system across all screens

Iterating based on feedback to refine usability and clarity

The final product is a clean, cohesive finance platform that gives business owners full visibility and control over their money. It replaces the need for multiple disconnected tools with one unified experience — making financial management faster, clearer, and more accessible for the people who need it most.
