RuleOps: B2B SaaS Brand and Website

RuleOps replaces the scattered way most teams manage business logic. Spreadsheets, Confluence pages, buried tickets, and engineering time burned on every rule change. The platform gives teams one versioned control plane: create policies, test decisions, trace outcomes, and generate APIs from approved rules without a deployment cycle.
The audience is technical. Backend engineers, middleware architects, product owners, CTOs. The product needed to feel like infrastructure, not another SaaS dashboard with a marketing site attached. The reference points were Vercel, Linear, Railway. Precision, developer empathy, and nothing that talks down to the person reading it.
Brand before pages. The engagement started with a brand book: visual language, tone, and system established before any page design. The core values, Clarity, Control, Trust, Auditability, and production grade reliability, each carry a visual implication. Palette, typography, and layout structure were derived from those values rather than from category aesthetics.
Two registers, one system. I developed light and dark website directions sharing the same structure and typographic system. The difference is register. The light version reads accessible and approachable for a broader audience. The dark version sits closer to developer tooling: high contrast, precise, signalling infrastructure rather than product.
The page argument. The hero states the proposition in three lines: build policies, test decisions, explain outcomes. Below it the page walks through how the decision engine works, how it fits existing workflows, and the FAQ. Each section answers a specific objection an engineer or CTO brings to evaluating a new control plane.
The system. One component library supports both modes. Colour tokens, type scales, and layout grids switch between light and dark without rebuilding anything. Structured, documented, and built to scale, in the same way the product is.
Timeline: 2 weeks. Year: 2026. I led brand and website design.
