GoldStories: Jewelry E-Commerce Website

GoldStories sells jewelry with a specific point of view. Recycled gold, a handwritten note in every box, pieces made with deliberate meaning. The existing website reflected none of it. The brief was direct: build something that feels as considered as the product.
Emotion without friction. The result is an e-commerce experience that leads with atmosphere and still checks out cleanly. Warm, expressive, navigable. The two halves are usually treated as a trade off. Here they were resolved together.
Visual direction. The identity draws from the founder's Indian heritage: a rich palette, custom illustrations, and refined decorative detail that give the brand a distinct place in a market where most jewelry stores look interchangeable. The illustrations turn product pages into something closer to a gallery. Each piece is presented with the atmosphere it carries, not only its specs.
Keeping the path clear. Catalog browsing, product storytelling, and checkout were each mapped and simplified so visual richness never becomes navigational noise. Every element has to earn its place, and the ones that did not were removed.
Result. A digital presence that matches what the brand actually is. Not a generic store with good photography, but a space where buying a piece of jewelry feels like joining a story.
Timeline: 3 weeks. Year: 2024. I led design of the full storefront.
