Munch Eatery is a restaurant located in Ansonia Ct, with a cafe, deli, and bakery! The eatery is family-owned and focused on delivering quality food with quality ingredients. I collaborated with the owner and head baker to establish branding that delivered this message and designed social media templates to help share the Munch story. Check out my TikToks

Before designing anything, I met with my client and discussed her brand goals, brand values, and attributes that she wanted to be reflected in her branding.

I sent over a few different mood boards for the client to look at as well as this document with a bunch of different inspiration, and she let me know what she liked and what she didn't like from each of them.
Developing the Final Brand Identity
After a couple of iterations, playing around with the color palette and the type – here is the final branding!
Brand Moodboard
Here is the final brand mood board, incorporating elements from my initial mood boards for the client as well as the final colors incorporated in the final branding.
Logo Design
The logotype is taken from the owner’s mom’s own handwriting. This is meant to emphasize how the brand is family-owned and operated. I chose green as the primary color to give the branding a fresh, homemade feel. I added crumbs as an element to give the branding a little bit more of a playful touch.
Color Palette
Icons + Stickers
I came up with a couple of stickers as well as brand icons to be used in the restaurant as marketing collateral (stickers on boxes, icons on the menus, etc.) The icons are a muffin with the Munch branding, as well as a fork with a leaf to emphasize how Munch is dedicated to serving food with quality ingredients.

I created a variety of social media templates for the client to use and edit for their social media posts to highlight the food at Munch, values, opening/closing times etc.
