Heritage Hills International School is a preschool and primary institution that prides itself on nurturing young minds in a joyful, safe, and values-driven environment.
 They approached me with a clear goal: to build a website that reflects the warmth and personality of their school — one that would resonate deeply with parents exploring the first school experience for their children.
 The final result is a friendly, responsive, and informative website that feels just as welcoming as the school itself.

Without a website, Heritage Hills had no centralized platform to introduce themselves to prospective parents. Most inquiries were happening through offline referrals or scattered social media posts, which made it difficult to establish credibility and clearly communicate what the school stands for. The challenge was to build everything from scratch — from visual identity to structure — and create a site that not only informed but emotionally connected with first-time school parents.

We followed a user-centered design approach, starting with a collaborative session with the school’s leadership to understand their goals, values, and expectations for their first website. They shared a few references they liked, and after conducting research on similar institutions and parent behavior, I proposed a simple sitemap and visual styleguide tailored to their needs. Given the website’s small footprint (about four main pages), we mutually decided to skip the wireframing phase and move straight into high-fidelity mockups. Once the designs were approved, I handled the complete development in WordPress using Elementor, ensuring smooth transitions, mobile responsiveness, and subtle animations to enhance the user experience.

Since this was Heritage Hills’ first website, the biggest impact has been establishing a strong and credible digital presence. For the first time, prospective parents can explore the school, its philosophy, and its environment — all in one place. While it's too early to measure metrics like admissions inquiries or conversions, the school now has a platform they’re proud to share. As it continues to grow, we’ll be monitoring performance and refining the experience based on parent feedback and real-world results.
