Design and development of automotive parts e-commerce store

Based in the United Kingdom, Parabellum Performance Ltd is one of leading providers of performance tuning parts for car enthusiasts. Specialising in high-end brands, the company offers a great selection of high-quality exhaust systems, suspension components, engine upgrades, and more. With a passion for automotive perfection and community, Parabellum Performance is dedicated to improve the driving experience for enthusiasts across the nation.

The aim of the project was to develop and design online store. We focused primarily on developing an intuitive design that enables users to make quick and convenient purchases from their desired category.

We have created a unique and fully bespoke navigation bar, that allow users to narrow their search, by specifying car brand and model.

Additionally, we opted for an aesthetic and minimalist design, limited in colours. The main emphasis is on the product, along with clickable first-level elements directing users to the shopping cart.

Research on competition and their SEO strategies

The project started with an online meeting. Rafael - director of Parabellum Performance, explained his business plan, targeted audience, challenges they were facing, and main competition together with sites for inspiration.

We started creating the UI design so that the Parabellum Performance has a image of a premium brand, while also being professional, minimalistic, and modern. We have taken care of the mobile version, as in current standards, this is a important point of contact between customers and the brand.

The approved design was then fully developed in WordPress together with WooCommerce plugin. Constant testing is a key part in every ecommerce store, as connection with online shopping has to be flawless.

Through entire project we kept in touch with Rafael. His part was also important, as he helped us to understand the industry, which resulted in the most accurate and effective website.

The new Parabellum Performance Ltd. website is a fully functional ecommerce shop, with great focus on minimalistic, professional design, that allows users to navigate flawlessly through the products. Responsive design, together with speed optimisation and basic on-page SEO is a great example of our commitment to perfection. By working with client, understanding their needs, and problems, we are able to create the powerful tool with key sales channel.
