THE CLIENT:
Start up Logistics contractor. We want an owl, and to incorporate R0 into the logo. Complete creative freedom otherwise!"
Having worked with one of the partners before, I had a sense of their likes in terms of design. Now with the prompt from the client, it was easy to anticipate their aesthetic taste, combined with my market research of competitors and design psychology, to efficiently turn over a winning logo. This took the stress off of the client and allowed the project to slow synergistically.
The winning logo, delivered to the client with only 1 proof needed for approval.
The real trick to making this logo timeless and usable is in its simplicity. I utilized minimal colors and detail effectively, ensuring it would be able to be embroidered, or printed at any scale, for advertising or planned vehicle wraps.
BENDED ASSETS:
The next step for the client was to use the previously established branding (logos, color, discussed aesthetics), to create cohesive graphics across other items that they will be utilizing - this was a full service design package.
Firstly, the most effective piece, the business cards.
Flags needed to direct delivery drivers at the facility.
Embroidered items. Customer requested subtle styling that matched the branding.
BEYOND:
We later went on to design and install vinyl graphics and numbered decals on the transport vans, as well as work on generic marketing and advertising pieces to help boost this start up into a successful launch.
