Fetch is a product and brand concept for dog ID tags made from recycled plastic. The project rethinks a small everyday pet accessory as something more thoughtful: useful, tactile, visually clean, and designed with less waste in mind.
The brand is built around daily walks, curious dogs, and simple objects that make pet care feel more considered.
Product
The main product is a round dog ID tag with a soft, friendly shape and a tactile recycled-plastic surface. Subtle speckles and small material imperfections make each tag feel slightly unique, while the overall look stays clean and premium.
The front side features the Fetch® logo, and the back side includes a QR code with owner information. The embossed and debossed details are designed to feel integrated into the object, rather than simply printed on top.
Functional Packaging
The packaging is a key part of the concept. Instead of becoming waste after purchase, it turns into a reusable capsule for dog-waste bags during walks.
The capsule is also made from recycled plastic: the front half is white with a slot for pulling out bags, while the back half matches the color of the tag inside. This makes the product and packaging work as one system — practical, visual, and useful beyond the first purchase.
Brand Extensions
The project also leaves room for future color collections based on different sources of recycled plastic. For example, limited editions could be made from discarded outdoor or sports equipment, turning material origin into part of the product story.
This approach keeps the system flexible: the core product remains simple and functional, while new collections can add more meaning, color, and context over time.
