UX Process
Our design and development process for Ascent.ai was rooted in user experience research to ensure the application met the needs of a diverse audience. The core steps included:
Workflow Deduction
Mapped out user journeys, starting from onboarding through advanced features like reporting and plan adjustments.
Established workflows that layer functionalities such as goal setting, connected accounts, reporting, and task management in a seamless and logical sequence.
Prototype & Testing
Created wireframes and prototypes to visualize how users would interact with onboarding, goal setting, and financial dashboards.
*We utilized a design system, so the UI design had some constraints.
Conducted iterative testing to refine layouts and workflows, ensuring ease of use and alignment with user needs.
Integration of Financial Models
Adapted the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" model by emphasizing cash flow management, goal prioritization, and financial literacy.
