Introduction

Since joining the Classlete team in 2019 I have created new pages and redesigned existing ones and improved the overall UX of the sign up and purchasing journey's.
Marketing was something I assisted with as well, by creating video advertisements that Classlete was able to use for social media.

User Research

To understand the needs of our users, we conducted user research and analyzed customer feedback. We found that student athletes wanted a platform that would allow them to showcase their accomplishments and feel like professional athletes.
I conduced usability tests with ideal customers, by letting them walkthrough the entire profile creation process. As they were going through the process, I took notes on how we can improve the UX. There were parts where users stalled for a second, or had trouble figuring out how to move on to the next step. I took note of those parts, and brought it back to the entire team.

I began by creating wireframes and prototypes of the landing, pricing, and shop pages. I focused on creating a clear and engaging design that highlighted the key features of the platform.
Student athletes are the ideal customer for Classlete. Therefore, the design and copy of the website had to be clear and concise but also exciting and engaging.

Results

The redesign of the Classlete platform resulted in a significant improvement in user engagement, conversions, and mobile responsiveness. The platform now provides student athletes with a way to showcase their accomplishments and feel like professional athletes, and we continue to receive positive feedback from our users.
Through this project, I learned the importance of understanding the needs of our users and how to use that information to create a clear and engaging design.
