Medical authority, translated into a cinematic digital identity
Independent portfolio concept — not presented as a paid or approved client engagement
This multi-page website concept translates the work of an orthopedic surgeon, biomechanical engineer and medical innovator into a clear, premium digital identity. I combined editorial brand design, structured professional content and cinematic WebGL interaction across a responsive ten-route experience.
The Challenge
The subject spans patient care, surgical technique, research, education, awards and innovation. The website needed to communicate authority without feeling institutional while organizing detailed material for patient, peer and speaking audiences.
The Solution
I created a deep-navy and warm-ivory brand system, then built an information architecture around biography, hip and knee expertise, procedures, research, innovation, education, awards and clinic contact. Three.js and GSAP connect surgical precision with restored human motion.
My Role
Brand-system implementation, information architecture, UX/UI design, front-end development, motion direction, WebGL implementation and WordPress-theme packaging.
Key Features
Ten professional-content routes
Cinematic WebGL homepage with anatomical 3D assets
GSAP scroll choreography and Lenis smooth scrolling
Research and publication archive with topical filters
Responsive video and mobile-specific presentation
Custom block-ready WordPress theme package
UI/UX Design Decisions
Large editorial typography establishes authority while restrained cyan accents create navigational focus. Anatomical motion and a particle field express biomechanical precision without relying on generic medical stock layouts.
Technology Stack
HTML5, CSS custom properties, JavaScript, GSAP, ScrollTrigger, Lenis, Three.js, WebGL, esbuild and a custom WordPress theme.
Project Outcome
A live, production-oriented concept with a complete route architecture, responsive assets, a static Vercel build and an exportable WordPress theme. No claims are made about patient acquisition, clinical outcomes or client endorsement.
