Zeymi is a mobile-first wake-system MVP designed to help people prepare for sleep, complete a deliberate wake flow and build more consistent mornings. I developed the product experience, architecture and visual system around a calm nocturnal interface and explicit safety boundaries.
The Challenge
Alarm products can wake a user without helping them stay awake or build a repeatable routine. The product also needed to be honest about browser limitations: a web application cannot guarantee lock-screen alarm delivery like a native operating-system alarm.
The Solution
I built a Next.js application with sleep preparation, routine configuration, QR missions, wake checks, history, subscription states and evidence-gated insights. A deterministic developer mode makes the complete MVP visually testable without writing fixture data to production services.

UI/UX Design Decisions
Deep indigo, lavender surfaces and a restrained animated star field create a calm low-light experience. Large time displays, clear routine controls and persistent mobile navigation prioritize legibility and state awareness.
Technology Stack
Next.js 16.3, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Supabase, Stripe, Google GenAI, Motion, Radix UI, shadcn/ui and Zod.
Project Outcome
A functional, locally previewable MVP with complete product routes, deterministic fixtures and a documented backend foundation.
Project status: This product is not publicly deployed and is presented as a work in progress.
The nocturnal dashboard brings the next wake time, sleep guidance and routine status into one view.
A deterministic developer mode makes the complete MVP inspectable without production fixture data.
The mobile home experience emphasizes low-light legibility and clear morning state.
Routine controls make weekday scheduling and wake-mission configuration easy to scan.
