A German copywriter specializing in health and wellness sought to make a significant impact in the lives of pre-diabetic women aged 45 and older by offering a Keto diet-focused product. The product consisted of worksheets, recipe books, shopping guides, cheat sheets and more designed to help users manage their health effectively. Despite the quality of the content, the initial sales funnel failed to engage the target English-speaking market effectively due to a flat translation.
Recognizing the need for expert localization and content optimization, the client invited me overhaul the sales funnel. My approach involved a deep dive into the specific health concerns and preferences of the target demographic. I refined the sales messages to highlight the direct benefits of the Keto diet for managing pre-diabetes, emphasizing ease of use and the potential for significant health improvements. At the same time, I took care to stay well within the bounds of FDA guidelines.
The most challenging aspect of this project was ensuring that the complex nutritional information was both accessible and correct. By leveraging emotive storytelling and clear, actionable language, the new funnel resonated deeply with the audience. Strategic placement of upsells and one-time offers within the ClickFunnels platform further enhanced customer engagement and conversion rates.
The results of these improvements were substantial. More effective upselling within the funnel led to an increase in average customer value from $19 to $40. At the same time, conversion rates improved significantly. The combination of more customers converting and spending more than before led to a tripling of overall revenue,
This project highlights the importance of highly-targeted content and funnel optimization in the health sector. It demonstrates that with the right strategy, niche products could achieve substantial market success and genuinely help people improve their health outcomes.
