The Client: India Mahila (Women's) Association of Bristish Columbia (IMA)

The client is a 50 year old non-profit advocating for women's rights in BC. With a legacy of empowerment and service IMA sought a complete brand refresh to modernize its image and engage a broader audience, including younger demographics. Proficient delivered aholistic branding solution encompassing logo redesign, visual identity creation, digital strategy, social media management, website development, and marketing collateral production.

The Work:

The Logo:

Proficient revitalized IMA's logo to celebrate its 50-year legacy while incorpoprating modern design elements to appeal to younger audiences. The updated logo reflected strenght, inclusivity, and empowerment, embodying IMA's mission to support women in BC.

Brand Identity Guidelines:

Developed comprehensive guidelines, including typography, colour palettes, and usage rules, ensuring consistency across all IMA materials and platforms.

The Website:

Designed and developed a responsive, user-friendly website optimised for mobile and desktop. Integrated SEO strategies resulting in a 35% increase in organic traffic within the first three months. Implemented a secure contact form boosting inquires and engagement with the community.
Marketing Collateral:
Designed a professional bilingual brochure and presentation templates that communicated IMA's mission and initiatives effectively. Created banners, flyers, and event materials that adhered to the updated visual identity.
