Mindee is a toy-subscription platform that delivers curated Montessori-inspired play kits to children every month. The brand blends education and play seamlessly, empowering parents to support developmental learning at home.
The previous website struggled with visual hierarchy, accessibility, and emotional engagement, all critical for a family-focused brand.
Objective: Redesign Mindee's website to improve clarity, warmth, and conversion through a modern, playful, and educational UI.
Design Approach
I started by mapping the parent's decision journey: understanding what Mindee offers, trusting the brand with their child's development, and subscribing. From there, I introduced modular sections ("How Mindee Works," "Browse by Age," "Why Parents Love Mindee") to improve scannability and storytelling.
The visual direction leans warm and playful without being childish. Rounded shapes, soft color palettes, and generous whitespace create a sense of care and approachability. Every section is designed to build trust incrementally, moving parents from curiosity to confidence to conversion.
Outcome
The final UI captures Mindee's mission: turning education into joyful discovery through a design that's purposeful, not just pretty.
Emotional connection: Warmer visuals and structured storytelling foster trust and engagement
Scalable design system: Established a consistent visual identity applicable across future digital touchpoints (app, email, ads)
Conversion clarity: Every page has a clear purpose and a visible path to subscribe
Website redesign for Mindee, a Montessori-inspired toy subscription platform. Rebuilt the visual hierarchy, storytelling structure, and conversion flow to match the warmth of the brand.
