Project: Always On Paid Social Campaign — Meta Ads Role: Creative Direction & Design (in-house design team) Formats: Static images, carousel, short-form motion Type: Real client work — company name withheld for confidentiality
This project was created as part of my in-house design work for a B2B SaaS company (name withheld under confidentiality). It's shown here to demonstrate real paid social creative work, not as a self-initiated concept.

The Brief

Design an ongoing ("always on") set of Meta Ads creatives to consistently drive demo bookings — not a one-off launch campaign, but a rotating library of ads meant to keep performing over months without audience fatigue. The single conversion goal across every format: get a qualified B2B lead to book a call with a specialist.

The Problem

Always-on campaigns fail in a specific way: the first batch performs, then CTR quietly drops as the same audience sees the same 3-4 creatives on repeat. The brief wasn't just "make good ads" — it was to build a system that could keep producing new, on-brand variations quickly, across formats, without every asset needing a from-scratch concept.

The Approach

Built a modular creative system, not individual ads. Rather than designing each creative independently, I defined a small set of repeatable message angles (a specific pain point, a specific outcome, a specific proof point) and a matching visual template per format — so new creatives could be produced fast by swapping the angle and the visual proof, while staying visually consistent as a campaign.
Matched format to message type. Static images carry the sharpest single-pain-point hooks — one problem, one visual, one CTA, built for a fast scroll-stop. Carousels are used for anything that benefits from sequence: a before/after, a 3-step process, or a short feature walkthrough where card 2 and 3 earn the swipe. Short-form motion handles the messages that need a demonstration — the product actually working — which static formats can't sell convincingly.
Designed for demo-booking intent specifically, not general brand awareness: every creative's final frame or final carousel card carries the same direct CTA ("Book a specialist call"), avoiding the common always-on mistake of drifting toward vague brand messaging over time.

Process

Mapped 4-5 recurring pain points from sales call notes to use as rotating message angles, instead of guessing at what resonates
Built format-specific templates in the brand system so new creative variations could be produced without a new concept each time
Set up a lightweight creative-refresh cadence to swap underperforming angles before fatigue set in, based on CTR trends
Kept a consistent visual language (color, type, CTA placement) across all formats so the campaign reads as one system across a user's feed, not scattered one-off ads

Result

A living creative library across three formats built to sustain performance over time rather than a single campaign burst — designed so new variations could be produced quickly against a consistent system instead of starting from zero each time.
