No, it's Popdust! Popdust is your top source for the best hot takes on pop culture, music, movies, TV, celebrity news, and internet trends. While most of that content lived online, I worked on creating Popdust's Instagram presence.

Okay great, so not Popsugar. How did you help build their identity on social media? ⚡️

To no get lost in the sauce with all of the Pop-variation websites, we worked closely to highlight exclusive things that stood out to Popdust. This included exclusive artist interviews, expert film opinion pieces, and behind-the-scenes content with some cool celebs.



Cool stuff. How did you pick what content to share? 🎨

It can become quite overwhelming to keep a cohesive social media feed with so much to offer, but I worked closely with another colleague to use platforms like Later to organize a very beautiful feed that focused on rare and original photography to highlight recent articles and trending topics on social media. Sometimes we would even throw in viral Tik Toks every once in a while for fun.



And how did you work closely with the writers? 👩🏽‍💻

Popdust was a very close-knit team which was perfect when it came to sharing social ideas with the whole team. I would remotely attend editorial meetings to know which articles were coming down the pipe, and figure out what additional social and digital needs they needed. Working as a social media manager also meant sometimes working as a graphic designer.
