The purpose of this project was to establish an online presence for Websitecraft by designing a business site that markets them as a solution to the needs of other organizations seeking effective web design to support their goals. The site design needed to prioritize having an efficient user experience in order to guide users into performing preferred user actions.

This project aimed to create a website that encompasses user experience design, information architecture, user-goal clarification, and visual design in order to position its services as the solution to challenges faced by businesses on the digital landscape while establishing Websitecraft as a digital solutions expert.

The site would be a reflection of their ethos by showcasing its commitment to intuitive, user-centric design. It aims to cover both the look and feel of a competent, digital solutions expert while achieving the desired interaction outcomes by using an underlying structure and user flow, ensuring that every interaction aligns with Websitecraft's mission to empower businesses through effective digital solutions. Using well-placed CTAs and information architecture to fulfill end-user goals will help support the their businesses goals by promoting their services after clarifying user needs by framing them as the solution to the problems held by potential clients.

The research and design process involved an analysis of other websites that had similar goals and audiences to serve as reference, providing important information that influenced the design direction and helping to craft a solution that would allow the final product to stand out against the competition.

At the same time, there was a need to ensure that the design helped to establish an identity that aligned with the Websitecraft ethos while organizing the content into meaningful chunks that would build into a positive user experience. Brainstorming sessions were useful for identifying specific characteristics to focus on.

By doing so, the iterative design process became an effective tool in determining what design alternatives better served our purposes, leading towards a final design that would establish Websitecraft as a professional and trustworthy brand with expertise in defining the user experience.

Once the design was finalized, the planning phase moved into development. From the start of the project, the plan was to build on Wix Studio, so all design decisions had to keep that in mind as well. Planning development to the extent that I did streamlined the process, allowing us to quickly move into QA and mobile responsiveness testing. Commitment to creating high-quality products and a series of user testing sessions gave us the confidence to push this project on the timeline and into its final stages, launching the site after confirming that all key points and criteria had been reached.
